This policy explains who owns the content on Aeon School, how you may use it, and how to tell us if you believe something on our website or apps infringes your copyright.
1. Our content
The Aeon School website, apps and dashboards, including their design, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, videos, software and the way they are arranged, are owned by Aeonian Technology Corporation (Canada) and/or Aeonian Technology USA LLC (USA), or used under license, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.
“Aeon”, “Aeon School” and the Aeon logos are trademarks of Aeonian Technology Corporation (Canada) and/or Aeonian Technology USA LLC (USA). You may not use them without our written permission, except to refer to our products accurately.
2. How you may use our content
You may view, download and print pages from our website for your own personal or internal business use, and share links to them. You may not copy, republish, sell, modify or create derivative works from our content, or use it in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission. To ask for permission, email sayhello@aeon-app.com.
3. Content you submit
You keep ownership of content you submit to Aeon School, such as messages or documents. You give us permission to host, store and display it only as needed to provide the Service. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to submit it.
4. Reporting copyright infringement
We respect the rights of copyright owners. If you believe content on Aeon School infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent containing:
- Your name, address, phone number and email address.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The location of the material you believe is infringing, such as a web address or a description of where it appears in the app, with enough detail for us to find it.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
In the United States, we respond to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. In Canada, we follow the notice-and-notice regime under the Copyright Act, which includes forwarding notices to the person alleged to have infringed where the law requires.
5. Counter-notices
If your content was removed because of a notice and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent. It should include your contact details, identify the removed content and where it appeared, state under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and include your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and your signature. Where the law allows, we may restore the content unless the person who complained tells us they have started legal proceedings.
6. Repeat infringers
We may suspend or close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
